Modal Silk

Modal silk is a soft blend built on modal, a fibre made from plant cellulose, with a smooth hand, a gentle sheen and a fluid drape. It takes deep colours beautifully, which is why it's a favourite base for ajrakh block prints in reds, indigo, black and cream. Modal silk works well for kurtis, sarees, dupattas, salwar suits and co-ord sets, and is comfortable enough to wear all day. Hand wash separately in cold water.
