      About Georgette

      Georgette is a lightweight, slightly sheer fabric with a crinkled surface and an easy, flowing drape. It moves well and doesn't crease easily, so it suits sarees, anarkalis, kurtis, dupattas and summer dresses. Printed georgettes, from florals to digital prints, are great for everyday wear, while embroidered georgettes with sequin, stone and thread work are made for weddings and festive occasions. As it's sheer, georgette is usually lined for kurtis and dresses.
