Hakoba is a lightweight cotton known for its schiffli embroidery, where small floral motifs and eyelets are stitched and cut into the fabric. The result is airy and delicate, ideal for summer kurtis, tops, blouses, dresses and children's wear. White and cream hakoba are classics, and coloured versions give the look a modern twist. Because the eyelets let light through, hakoba kurtis and dresses are often lined.
