Embroidery

Embroidered fabric does the detail work for you: the design is already on the cloth, so a simple cut becomes a statement piece. The range spans everyday thread-work cottons and linens for kurtis and tops, through to heavily embellished net and georgette with sequins, stones and beads for lehengas, blouses, dupattas and bridal wear. Lace and cutwork pieces add a lighter, open texture. Heavier embellished fabrics are usually lined, and are best dry cleaned to protect the work.
